Omid AshtariOmid Ashtari is director of business development for foursquare and is focused on expanding the European footprint through strategic partnerships. Before joining foursquare, Omid spent 7 years with Google in Dublin, London and San Francisco. During his Google tenure he held multiple positions in sales and business development, working with a broad range of clients and partners across
the globe.

Stefan Bardega, head of digital and innovation, MediaCom

Stefan BardegaStefan Bardega has been a digital strategist since 1999 when digital was a 1% media. He has helped grow the industry through continuous digital innovation including launching Europe's first online video ad campaign and more recently developing the world's first mobile ad served campaign. Stefan joined MediaCom in 2007 as director of digital strategy to drive integrated digital solutions. In 2009 Stefan was made a managing partner and set up MediaCom Beyond Advertising, their content division, and in 2012 was named as MediaCom's head of digital and innovation. Most recently he was responsible for launching MediaCom Dynamic Mobile Geo Ads enabling their clients to deliver thousands of ad creatives, targeted to multiple locations.

John Barnes, managing director, digital & technology, Incisive Media

John BarnesJohn Barnes is responsible for the direction and delivery of Incisive's digital strategy within the company's core markets in the UK, Asia and the US, and is responsible for mobile and tablet product development. He is also the managing director of the Technology Division, which includes market leading titles such as Waters, IMD, IRD, Computing, CRN, V3.co.uk, Theinquirer.net, BusinessGreen.com and IThound.com, as well as a strong portfolio of face to face and virtual events for technology professionals in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. John joined Incisive in February 2007 following its acquisition of VNU Business Publications where he was managing director. He started his career in 1985 in editorial and has edited numerous weeklies and monthlies. He is also the chairman of the association on Online Publishers (AOP), and a member of the Prince's Trust Technology leadership group.

Ian Carrington, mobile and social Google advertising sales director, NACE

Ian CarringtonIan Carrington is a veteran in digital advertising with over 14 years' experience including over 9 years in search marketing. Ian started work at Google 8.5 years ago and was responsible for verticalising the UK business. He then went on to run the finance team across Europe, considered Google's most advanced sector globally and also led several key global projects around monetization. Ian formed the mobile ad sales team in Europe 2 years ago and the social sales team in Jan 2012 where he is responsible for growth and strategy in these exciting and high growth sectors.

Dr. Federico Casalegno, director, MIT Mobile Experience Lab

Dr Federico CasalegnoDr.Federico Casalegno is the director of the MIT Mobile Experience Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, SHASS, program in Comparative Media Studies. Since 2008, he has been the director of the green home alliance between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Italy. He has been awarded an honorary professorship by the Glasgow School of Art, University of Glasgow. A social scientist with an interest in the impact of networked digital technologies on human behaviour and society, Dr. Casalegno both teaches and leads advanced research at MIT, and designs interactive media to foster connections between people, information and physical places using cutting-edge information technology.

Jan Chipchase, executive creative director of global insights, Frog Design

Mobile Business: Speakers: JanJan Chipchase is executive creative director of global insights and oversees Frog's global user research practice. With deep experience in running complex, international design research projects, Jan is widely considered to be the authority on applying human-centred insights to the development process. His extensive research projects have taken him around the world to collect insights into the broader emotional, social, and cultural contexts of the impact of technology. His most recent work took place in Afghanistan, where he studied the country's nascent mobile banking service. A world-renown thought leader, Jan has delivered keynotes at conferences such as TED, CES, LIFT, and the Economist's Human Potential Conference. Jan holds 25 patents granted or pending, and his research has been extensively profiled in BusinessWeek, The Economist, New Scientist, and The New York Times Magazine, among others.

Horace Dediu, founder, Asymco

Mobile Business: Speakers: HoraceHorace Dediu is founder of Asymco and has eight years of experience as an industry analyst and business development manager at Nokia, preceded by six years of software development and management in a startup environment, two years of IT management and five years of computer science research in an industrial laboratory.

Ilicco Elia, head of mobile, LBi

Ilicco EliaIlicco Elia joined global marketing and technology agency LBi in 2011 as head of mobile. With overall responsibility for product development and innovation, Ilicco heads up the mobile team at LBi, creating mobile strategies for the agency's portfolio of global brands and helping them take advantage of the ubiquity of mobile as an integral part of LBi's digital, creative and technology blend. In 2010 Ilicco was named as one of the UK's top 100 most influential people in media by the Guardian. He is a regular conference speaker on mobile and its importance as an engagement channel within the digital mix.

Andreas Gal, director of research and development, Mozilla

Andreas GalAndreas Gal joined the Mozilla project in 2009 to implement his dissertation research on trace compilation in practice. The result was TraceMonkey, the first just-in-time compiler for JavaScript. Since his work on JavaScript and TraceMonkey, Andreas has been involved in various Mozilla technologies and initiatives, trying to push the boundaries of what's possible with the open Web platform. In 2011 Andreas took on the role of director of research and development, leading a team of researchers and engineers working on a wide range of future-looking research and engineering projects, including Mozilla's Firefox OS / Boot to Gecko initiative.

Tamara Gillan, founder and chief executive officer, Cherry London

Tamara GillanTamara Gillan is the founder and chief executive officer of Cherry London, an award-winning marketer whose expertise in profitable, unique and digitally focused partnerships has attracted clients such as Pernod Ricard, AOL, O2 and Visa. Having started her career at London agencies Fullsix and ID Media, Tamara then headed up e-Marketing at Orange where she re-launched their e-channels. Cherry London is a marketing agency that specialises in brand partnerships and is the strategic partnership agency for O2's Priority Moments, having launched the hugely successful rewards programme in 2011. Tamara has spoken at a number of events (Everywoman Conference, Consumer Marketing Forum), and likes to spread the word about the positive impact of partnerships, high-impact/low-cost marketing and the role of women in business.

Geoff Inns, managing director, CBS Interactive

Geoff InnsGeoff Inns oversees publishing and business operations for CBS Interactive, whose media brands reach 1 in 4 UK Internet users. Joining in 2002, Geoff has occupied leadership roles in business development, product, gaming, video and consumer publishing before becoming managing director in December 2011. CBS Interactive's brand portfolio includes CNET, ZDNet and GameSpot. Prior to CBS Interactive Geoff spent two years working for Questico, a German-based startup, and the Guardian, where he was head of business development for online. Geoff's career started in selling print advertising for companies that included The Telegraph and Ziff-Davis.

Peter Parmenter, senior director of new platforms and OEM, EA Mobile and Social, EMEA and APAC

Peter ParmenterPeter Parmenter joined EA Mobile in 2005 and now oversees business development and spearheads EA Mobile's drive into Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as the APAC region. He is also responsible for EA Mobile's relationships with OEMs and associated vendors. Peter's background spans music, telecoms and games publishing with over 14 years spend in the wireless digital entertainment industry. He is incredibly passionate about delivering high quality games across multiple platforms across the regions he is responsible for.

William Perrin, founder, Talk About Local

william perrinWilliam Perrin is a community activist and former civil servant who got stuck into community action and eventually set up www.kingscrossenvironment.com, a website to keep track of what was going on. The site now has over 1100 articles, five volunteer writers and is an indispensable part of the local civic scene.

He has served as DTI to Downing Street and private secretary and policy advisor to Prime Minister Tony Blair, chair of the OECD Expert Group on e-government, commissioned and delivered the Power of Information work that kicked off government interest in open data and as one of the creators of OFCOM he remain interested in the media regulation scene.

Joff Redfern, head of mobile products, LinkedIn

Joff RedfearnJoff Redfern joined LinkedIn in 2011 as the head of LinkedIn's global mobile products team. Previously, he was the co-founder of start-up Flattenme, which makes award winning personalised children's storybooks. Joff has over 20 years of experience in product strategy and development in both start-up companies and Fortune 500 brands, such as Yahoo! where he was the vice president of product, leading the Yahoo! Buzz and Toolbar teams for six years. In 2000, Joff served as the vice president of product at myCFO, a financial services startup for high net worth families.

Alessandro Rizzoli, co-founder and chief executive officer, Mopapp

Alessandro RizzoliAlessandro Rizzoli is senior manager and business intelligence expert for various mid-size and large companies in the Financial, Retail and Telecom industries. Alessandro manages Mopapp's Business Development, Market Analysis and partnerships. Passionate about brainstorming ideas, he envisions products that can be used today but geared toward the future. Dan Rosen, chief executive officer, EMEA, Joule

Dan RosenbergDaniel Rosen has a wealth of experience of more than 15 years in mobile marketing, and is widely recognised as one of the global leaders in the industry. As chief executive officer, EMEA, Daniel oversees all of Joule's operations in EMEA and is responsible for leading the agency's growth across the region. He serves on Joule's global management team. Prior to Joule, Daniel was the founder and head of AKQA Mobile, where he was responsible for some of the world's most notable mobile campaigns for brands including Nike, Gap, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Volkswagen, and Visa. Whilst at the helm, AKQA Mobile created the now industry standard whitepaper on mobile internet usage and the future of the platform.

Simon Stanford, vice president, UK & Ireland telecommunications and networks division, Samsung

Simon StanfordSimon Stanford is vice president for telecommunications and networks for Samsung in the UK and Ireland, responsible for the Samsung mobile, tablet, MP3/4, 4G, LTE Network infrastructure and accessories businesses. Simon joined Samsung in September 2009 as sales director for Samsung Mobile before taking over as head of mobile in April 2010. In his current role, he has overseen the successful launches of Samsung Galaxy S Smartphones, the Galaxy Tab range, the launch of the innovative Note category, as well as helping Samsung become the number one UK handset vendor since March 2011 and number one provider Smartphone and Android devices.

Mark Stevenson, managing director, Priority Moments at O2

Mark StevensonMark Stevenson is a senior commercial marketing professional with 17 years marketing and general management experience in some of the UK's most popular consumer brands. Mark currently runs O2 Priority Moments – Telefonica O2's key customer loyalty and engagement proposition. Launched in July 2011 and already enjoying a multi-million customer base the aim is to provide exclusive offers and experiences to O2's 23 million customers, a varied, challenging and fun experience. Alina Vandenberghe, head of mobile and gaming, Pearson

Mobile business speaker: AlinaAlina Vandenberghe comes from Bloomberg where she headed mobile product and development across several verticals - finance, law, government and news. She was previously director of community, collaboration and mobile at Thomson Reuters. In both roles, Alina pioneered consumer centric methodologies that resulted in increased user adoption, shortened development cycles and award winning mobile products. Her most recent product, Bloomberg TV has been highly praised by users and media and won multiple industry awards. She has worked with start-ups around the world building cutting edge technology products leveraging open source technologies.

Eden Zoller, principal analyst, Telecoms Consumer Practice, Ovum

Eden ZollerEden Zoller is principal analyst with Ovum Telecom's Consumer Practice, covering digital commerce, advertising, communications, content, applications and social media. Her focus is on strategy, marketing, monetization and competitor analysis including the impact of OTT. Eden has particular expertise in mobile services. Her expertise means she is a frequent media commentator and speaker at industry events and conferences, which have included Mobile World Congress, Miptv, TM Forum, CTIA, MEF and the MMA. Eden has been a judge for the GSMA's Mobile Global Awards for the past four years.
